Ashtanga yoga is an ancient system of yoga that consists of a dynamic and challenging sequence of postures that flow one after the other, much like a dance. The process produces an intense internal heat and purifying sweat that detoxifies the muscles and organs of the body, resulting in a balanced, calm and lucid mind and a health that permeates all aspects of the being.
